Directions for your Current Topics Post and Presentation: Read up: Find articles about a current issue--it can be local, national or worldly--find something that is interesting to you! You should be following this topic throughout the year. Post an article: Before your designated Friday, select one article of interest to post to the blog. This article should come from a reputable source, it should be lengthy enough to provide new insight or analysis of an issue, but not so lengthy that your classmates are bogged down by the whole thing, and it should be timely. Present an issue: On your designated Friday, you will present your article to the class: introduce your topic, provide context, summarize the main points, and explain the differing perspectives. Pose a question: Write thought provoking question about your article that your classmates will respond to on the blog.
